Paris FC are managing their squad carefully ahead of Sunday’s clash with Brest, resting several key players while still keeping their options open. Midfielder Ilan Kebbal, who has been slightly under the weather, is expected to be available for selection despite being eased through training this week.

Head coach Stéphane Gilli opted for a lighter session on Friday following a demanding workout on Thursday. The focus shifted away from heavy physical drills toward tactical and technical preparation, with attacking players sharpening their finishing skills and defenders concentrating on specific structural work.

Among those given reduced workloads were Vincent Marchetti, Timothée Kolodziejczak, and Kebbal. Forward Pierre-Yves Hamel, recovering from injury, continued his customized fitness program before rejoining the group, while recent signing Jonathan Ikoné is not set to travel to Brittany.

Paris FC come into the match buoyed by their first win of the campaign, a 3–2 victory over Metz two weeks ago. Gilli anticipates a tough contest against a Brest side still searching for consistency but keen to secure their first home win of the season. “They’ll want to play with pace and aggression, pressing hard and hitting us in transition. We’ll need to stay organized, disciplined, and impose our game from the very first minute,” he said.

For Paris, the match represents both an opportunity to confirm their progress and a test against a typically resilient opponent on home turf.
